Class IV Laser

Laser therapy and its powerful healing effects have been documented in numerous medical studies. Lasers were first introduced in 1967 and since then, their many therapeutic uses and applications have undergone continuous enhancement and development.

The Class IV Laser is a modality that uses state of the art technology to interact with soft tissues at a cellular level resulting in increased circulation and decreased inflammation.

Laser therapy uses red and near-infrared wavelengths to create healing effects while reducing pain and swelling, as well as reducing the healing time. It stimulates soft tissue repair and reduces muscle spasms and stiffness.

Laser therapy is painless and highly effective with no known side effects.

Conditions like carpal tunnel syndrome, tennis elbow, plantar fasciitis, shoulder, back and knee pain, tendonitis, fibromyalgia, sprains and many sports injuries respond well with laser therapy.  Patients who have undergone recent surgery benefit from laser therapy in their post-operative recovery as it promotes a reduction of swelling and pain which in turn promotes healing.

Class IV Laser therapy benefits are maximized when used in combination with other therapeutic modalities, Chiropractic care, Massage Therapy and Acupuncture.  This type of therapy is non-addictive, non-invasive and has been proven to be a safe and effective method for treating numerous conditions.

Ask your physiotherapist or a chiropractor how you can benefit from laser therapy.
